Chongqing- On the first afternoon of the National People’s Congress in Beijing, President Xi Jinping met with the delegation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. During the meeting, he emphasized that ‘people first’ should always remain the overriding principle in order to safeguard the well-being of the public.
Particularly in light of the on-going pandemic worldwide, the principle demands no effort should be spared in the battle for epidemic prevention and control, even such actions may create a negative impact on national economic performance.
